Dearest Jerry

You know most of the goings on from today since we spoke earlier today. I hope you are doing well and have found something to engage your mind. Let me know if you need anything at all. Movies, music, books (ha) or maybe even books on CD. I will be posting more pictures for you as soon as I can find the connection cord.
I think Ben has just realized tonight that you are not at home. He is not accepting the "Papa is at work" statement any longer (at least before bedtime). You know how he is - he says "NO" you are not at work and "NO" not out of state. When we pray he looks at my face to see if I have tears. He is quite the sweetheart. He loves his new Lightning McQueen blanket and it is working to keep him in bed. He went to bed when I asked but did get up once. I threatened to spank his bum. He called me back into the room (by yelling so he wouldn't get out of bed again) to apologize for getting out of bed.
Bekah called me at work today crying. She misses you a lot. I wasn't able to get home before she was picked up so I couldn't find out what was going on. I'll see her tomorrow since she will be trick or treating in our neighborhood. She, Miranda and Claire will watch our house and hand out candy while I take Ben trick or treating. When we get home the girls will go out with the 100s of kids in our area. Ben is excited. I'll take lots of pictures.
We had fish (Tilapia) for dinner with soy beans (no starches). Boy does Ben love those beans. He actually ate half of mine as well. We watched curious George while we ate mainly because the kitchen table is a mess. Planning on having Halibut later this week, I think I'll use the grill. Yes, I know where it is and how to turn it on!
The laundry we were working on before you left is still piled in the hallway. I'm working on a couple loads right now before I snuggle in to bed. Although the bed is nice & cool, I miss spooning with you.
I go for my echo tomorrow at the cardiologist. I'll let you know if they find anything although I'm pretty sure my heart is healthy. But you know, I am fat and lazy so I have been working on that as well. I don't have the treadmill or elliptical yet but I have been doing more strength training with the weights and band. Abigail is selling her treadmill so I'm going to ask how much she wants for it.
Did I tell you Kevin is leaving? He turned in his notice last week before a lunch date with Katie H. and Jamie. He didn't want to lie to Katie if she asked about work so he turned on the spot and told J he was resigning. He's going to work with the guys from Detek to star the alarm side of their business. He seems to have had a huge weight lifted from his shoulders. Funny how that is when people leave.
Remember, I have to pay mortgage tomorrow. I'll text you with balance.
I'm finally starting to feel extremely sleepy. So I'm going to sign off but first I want you to remember God has you in his protection. Have faith today He will take care of you tomorrow.
